How much does it cost to replace a zip?
£18 in jeans or trousers, from £22 in a dress, from £45 in a lined coat. Coats cost more because the lining has to be opened and closed by hand.
Is it worth repairing rather than replacing the garment?
Almost always, if you liked the garment. A £45 coat zip against a new coat is not a close comparison, and the coat you already own already fits you.
Can you repair bags and home items?
Yes — bags, cushion covers, sleeping bags and pushchair covers all come through. From £14.
Do you fix moth holes and tears?
Small tears and seam splits from £12. Moth holes in knitwear depend on the yarn — bring it and we'll look.
