Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 3 October 2026

These terms cover two things: buying from our online shop, and alterations, repairs and made-to-measure work in our atelier. They don't take away any of your legal rights as a consumer.

About us

Beautasy is the trading name of Krestina Safaryan, a sole trader, at Flat 41 Albany Park Court, 3 Westwood Road, Southampton SO17 1LA, United Kingdom. The workroom is at the same address and visits are by appointment only. Email hello@beautasy.co.uk, or call or WhatsApp 07729 741116.

The shop

Prices and paying

Prices are in pounds sterling. The delivery cost is shown before you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe when you place your order.

Your order is accepted when we email you to confirm it. If we've made an obvious mistake with a price, or an item turns out to be out of stock, we'll tell you and refund you in full.

How ordering works. Add pieces to your bag, then check out on Stripe's secure payment page. Before you pay, you'll see what you're buying, the delivery cost and the total, and you can go back to your bag to change anything. Pressing Pay places your order and takes payment. We email you your order details straight away: please keep that email, as it's your copy. We keep a record of your order too, and if you have an account you can see it there. Orders and these terms are in English.

Delivery

Pieces that are ready are posted within 1–2 working days. Made-to-order pieces take the making time shown on their page first. Delivery times and prices are on our Delivery & Returns page. If something will take longer than we said, we'll tell you.

Orders sent outside the UK may be charged import duty or tax by the country they're going to. That's paid by the person receiving the parcel.

Changing your mind

You can cancel your order without giving a reason at any time from placing it until 14 days after the day you receive it. If it arrives in more than one parcel, the 14 days start when the last one arrives. Just tell us clearly: an email to hello@beautasy.co.uk is easiest, but a letter or the form at the bottom of this page is fine too. Then post the item back to us within 14 days of telling us.

What can't be returned once opened: if knickers, briefs, thongs or children's briefs reach you in a sealed hygiene bag, we can't take them back once the seal is broken, for health and hygiene reasons, unless they're faulty. Pieces that arrive without a seal can be returned like anything else.

Made just for you: anything made to your measurements or your design can't be cancelled once we've started on it.

Faulty items

If something arrives faulty or isn't as described, tell us within 30 days and we'll give you a full refund, including postage both ways. After 30 days, we'll repair or replace it. If that doesn't work, or would take too long, you can have some or all of your money back, and in the first six months we won't take anything off for the time you've had it. You can make a claim for up to six years after delivery (five in Scotland).

Gift cards

Discounts

Discount codes, from our newsletter, Beautasy Friends or a partner salon, follow the rules shown with them. One discount code per order, and codes can't be swapped for cash. A friend's discount can be used together with a gift card, but a newsletter code can't be used in the same order as either.

The atelier

Prices and quotes

Our price list is a guide. We tell you the final price before we start: in person once your garment is pinned, or from photos for repairs and curtains. We never start work without your agreement to the price.

If we find something we couldn't have seen, such as hidden damage, we stop and ask you before doing anything that would cost more.

Appointments

Book online, by email or on WhatsApp. Before your visit, Kristina sends you the address and how to find the door. If you can't make it, please let us know as early as you can so someone else can have the time.

Bring the shoes and underwear you'll wear with the garment. Hems are set to the heel.

Collect & return

For work that doesn't need a fitting (curtains, zips, repairs, or a hem pinned at home), Kristina can collect from you and bring the finished piece back. It's available in the postcode areas shown on the booking form, at the prices shown there. Kristina emails you a time. If it doesn't suit you, just reply.

Paying

You pay when your finished piece is ready, before or when you take it home. For bigger jobs, such as a wedding package or made-to-measure work where we buy fabric for you, we may ask for part of the price first. We'll always tell you before you agree. If you cancel, we give that part payment back, keeping only what we've already spent on fabric bought specially for you and a fair price for work already done, where these terms let us charge for it (see Changing your mind below).

How long it takes

Most work is ready within a week. We give you a date when we agree the price. If you need something sooner, ask us and we'll tell you honestly whether we can do it.

Looking after your things

We take great care with everything you leave with us. Please tell us about anything delicate, valuable or already damaged, and empty the pockets. If we damage something through our own fault, we'll repair it or pay you fairly for it.

Collecting your finished piece

We'll tell you when your piece is ready. If it hasn't been collected 90 days after that, we'll write to you, giving at least three months' notice of the date after which we may sell it and saying what you owe us for the work. If it's still not collected by that date, we may sell it. We'll keep what you owe us for the work and the reasonable cost of selling it, and send you the rest. If it can't reasonably be sold, we may donate or recycle it instead.

Changing your mind

If something isn't right

We do every job with care and skill. If anything isn't as we agreed, tell us as soon as you can and we'll put it right free of charge. If we can't, or it would take too long or cause you real trouble, we'll take a fair amount off the price, which can be up to a full refund.

For everything

Our responsibility to you

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not taking reasonable care. We're not responsible for business losses. Nothing here limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Your information

How we use your details is explained in our Privacy Policy.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim there.

If something goes wrong, please talk to us first. Most things are fixed with a message.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies is the one on this page when you placed your order or agreed your work.

Cancellation form

You don't have to use this form: any clear message saying you want to cancel is enough. If you'd like to use it, copy it into an email, or print it and post it to us. Cross out the words that don't apply.
